2015-04-10; Cricut Wild Card Oval

2015/04/10

Hello Stamper! Thanks for stopping by. For today’s sample I have made a Cricut cut card from the cartridge Wild Card. It is called Oval (Page 39); and I cut the base card as the blackout at 5.25″.

I then cut the burgundy scroll work at the same size.

I embossed the base card prior to adding the scroll layer with a Paper Studio embossing folder called Canning. I added the Fabric flower; leaf punches (Martha Stewart) god metallic thread, blue ribbon, eyelet ribbon, Scrapbook paper and sentiment (TAC – The Angel Company).

Because of the oval shape the card would not “free stand” on it’s own. So I created a mini easel for it.

This is a fun card as it’s not the standard shape (rectangle A-2 size) and I’m sure that now with the easel added whomever receives it will be able to display it nicely.

Very Pretty, Bonnie! Shaped cards are always so much fun but I don’t think to make them often enough.
