2015-03-29; Anna Griffin oval frame

When my girlfriend was cleaning I was the lucky recipient of a few of her discards. One of the discarded items was a few of these pre-printed frames.

I started with the frame and then built around it. It was a pretty fancy frame so I pulled out a few Spellbinder dies and started layering.

I added tiny gem stones and vellum butterfly’s (Martha Stewart punches) to accent the frame.

The sentiment I used was by Hero Arts (D2022 Inspiration Prints-Dragonfly). Originally it had a picture of a dragonfly and also a border around the entire image. I carefully masked this off so I’d only have the sentiment.

The dies that are I used are: Resplendent Rectangles, Petite Ovals-Large and Moroccan Motifs. I really wanted to add a big bow and flowers but I just couldn’t do it. The card needs to stay flatter, so I just stuck a few feathers on to imitate a flight pattern of the butterfly.
