2018-07-16; Using up left-overs
Greetings.
Today I’m working on using up some left over card parts on my desk (Left over from this project). I am sure I have mentioned before that when I stamp & cut out images I do quite a few at a time. This gives me extras in case I have some kind of malfunction 😉 With that said, I am using up more of the Delight in Life flowers, stamped/punches leaves and the purple print background.
The flower was colored with pastels & sealed with hair spray. The center was dotted with glue and had micro gold beads & chunky glitter added.
I used two no-brand dies and this view shows the corner detail of the wonky stitch line and then the stitched scallop boarder.
Just a happy sentiment stamped in black
After the flowers were colored and hair sprayed, I flipped them over and used a ball stylus on them. To add dimension (and keep it there) I filled the created indention’s with hot glue and let cool before adding to card front. They will now stay 3-d while mailing.
And one last look at the card before you go on about your day….
Flower & sentiment are both by Stampin’ Up
Sentiment: Wonderful Words II
Flower: Delight in Life
The leaf is a Martha Stewart leaf with matching punch stamp and die set.
The two dies used are both no-brand dies.
