What a fun spring colored card….the pinwheel card. As cute as it is, I have to say that I will never make another one. I had a terrible time trying to feed the brad through the tiny holes in order to form the pinwheel. With all the fussy things I do, you wouldn’t think that this would be so hard for me, but it was
Just a close up so you can see just how tiny the brad center is.
This card contains a number of different elements…punches, die cuts, embossing, origami type folding and some rubber stamping. It seriously doesn’t look like there is that much going on, does there?

Instead of the brad, you could use anything else. A small flower, glitter glue or whatever. Just glue the tips of the center of the pinwheel down. Maybe that would be simplier?

I have yet to make a card with pinwheels. This is really a cute and colorful card!
This was such a fun card to make. You were probably tired from working all day. I just need to glue everything down in place. What a fun evening!
And I ended up doing something completely different with the four pinwheels – I used three horizontally for one card. I now have a single to use for a second one. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
