2009-10-08 Paper Quilling; Bouquet #5
After 4 other arrangements of Paper Quilled flowers I was really running out of ideas. So on Wednesday when SplitCoastStampers had their weekly sketch challenge, that’s what I used to create my card.
The quilling paper is 1/8″ thick throughout. The flower center is an 8″ tight circle. The flower leaves are 6″ and the scrolls/stems are free handed with two pieces of quilling paper glued together and then separated on the bottom into two separate scrolls.
I was kind of Cuttlebug crazy on the layers. I used a total of 4 different Cuttlebug folders, 2 circle punches and a flourish die. You may never be able to see it, but I also used my Scor-Pal. I embossed lines on the horizontal chocolate piece.
This may be my favorite of all the quilled cards. I’ll have to wait and see what tomorrow brings with my last bouquet.
Gorgeous again, Bonnie! Love the colors and all the Cuttlebugging. And of course I love the quilling, too.
Wonderful card, love the detail and quilling, I don’t think I would have patients for but it sure looks good. Love your cards as always.
It’s a beautiful card. Great colors!
Bonnie
I lost your address already! It’s a good thing my head is permanently attached.
