2009-03-17 Fan Fold Flower Medallion & tutorial
I was given a Stampin’ Up sale-a-bration brochure. I cannot afford to buy $50 worth of products this year so I looked closely at the samples instead. Guess what I and found? This great fan fold flower medallion. They even gave a short picture tutorial:
I used some homemade background paper made by my friend Jan (the green flowers); and also some decorative scrapbook papers the redish flowers; papers by Basic Gray). The flower was quite large so I left that be pretty much the whole card. The words used from left to right:
Hello…by Vap! Scrap
Just Because…Endless Creations
Bloom….Studion g
Bloom where you are planted…Imaginations!
On all of the cards I used some paper piercing. On two of the cards I did something a little different. I used my sewing machine (the hello card); and on another I used my scor-pal to add embossed lines (the just because card). I of course used my scor-pal to make the flowers.
Great job with those flowers. I have made some, but have not put them on a card yet. Beautiful cards.
These look great! Love your cards and flowers!
Beautiful! My demo gave me the directions to make this flower, You take a piece of paper 12 in by 3/4 inches and score every 1/4 inch. You put it together exactly the way you did. Your flowers are gorgeous. I’ll have to try the bigger flower.
Wonderful flowers Bonnie! Those are great buttons to hide the centers too. You rock girl!
BEAUTIFUL!!!
