2018-04-19; Tuck in from Jan and resulting card
In my last note from my friend Jan she sent me card sample using a Stampin’ Up set called Wreath builder. She also sent me this tuck in along with the card and was interested to see what I would make out of it.
OK, Ms. Jan, here is what I ended up doing…
I thought the peach scrolls were an element that I didn’t need so I tore the wreath into a circle, sponged the edges and mounted it on a stitched circle and then a scallop circle. Here you can see the various layers.
To to top of the wreath I added tiny die cut flowers, leaves & added gems to the flower centers.
The center butterfly no longer matched my color scheme so I found a holographic butterfly sticker from my stash and just put it over the top. This one is from the dollar store. It’s a 3-d holographic sticker which explains why I can’t get a good picture of it.
I added gold foil stickers to each of the corners.
The DP are some papers that I found in a Iris Box. I used the Cricut to cut the fancy lattice mat. Cut from the cartridge Creative Cards at 5-1/2″.
I hope she likes the card she will be getting back with my next note!
