2021-10-13; Cutest little pumpkin
Today’s card was made using up left over pieces on the corner of my desk. The stamped plaid background, the die cut scallop rectangle, the cricut cut frame and finally a scrap of cream plaid decorative scrapbook paper.
I did have already stamped and cut out pumpkins on my desk. I stamped an entire sheet of them and had the Scan-n-Cut, cut them all out for me.
This close view shows some sphagnum moss that I added under the layers of pumpkins and the sentiment. It is from a set by CC Designs called Halloween Giggles. I had gotten this set last year at a rummage sale for $1.
And one more look at the card before you go on about your day….
The challenge that this card fits is over at the RetroRubber Challenge Blog. This is for challenge #169-Anything goes. All you need to do is use a stamp older than a year and then give the approximate age of the images.
Today’s stamps are some of the oldie-moldy stamps from my collection. The pumpkin is from the set Little Layers II by Stampin’ Up from about 2003. I did find a sample that I did from 2007 where I used the snowflake image from this same set. The other stamp image; although covered up almost entirely is a large background stamp called Pin-dot plaid. I think this is one of the first large background stamps I bought back in the day. And unfortunately I’m showing my age here because I started stamping about 30 years ago. I checked the Splitcoaststampers.com site to see if I could find this stamp listed, with no luck, so it’s older than they are lol! I did find one of my own images using it, that dates back to 2007.
Thanks for stopping by.

This is adorable! I love anything pumpkin-y but the sentiment and all the embellishments really kick this up a notch! Love it! Thanks for sharing it with us at Retro Rubber!
