2021-09-22; givin’ the old stamps love

2021/09/22

I followed a sketch I found on line and the requirement along with this challenge was to use stamps that were older than a year old. No problem there! I have bought new stamps since I retired in 2019.

Today’s card uses rubber stamps from the Stampin’ Up set Autumn Harvest which is dated 2007. For the sentiment I also used a Stampin’ Up set called For All Things dated 2014.

I’m still using mini-note cards that I picked up at the thrift store, so I adjusted the sketch to fit. Finished size of the card is 4×5.5″

Here is a close look at the focal image. You can’t tell, but I stacked two large pumpkins for dimension. I also added Wink of Stella to the leaves.

I didn’t have the right sized scallop border punch so I created my own by punching circles and then cutting them in half.

Today’s sketch can be found at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog. This is for challenge #167, Let’s Get Sketchy!

Thanks for stopping by.

So wonderful! The richness of the colours is matched only by the fruitful abundance of your cluster. It was so worth a close up! The layering is fantastic and the Wink of Stella just adds a final touch of opulence. Thank you for playing along with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
