2021-07-04; Fun Fold & review

The last card that we made on our 1-0n-1 craft day was this Z-fold pop up card. I had made one last month when I had a different friend over and was well received. So I made one this month with this girlfriend too.

We each picked out our decorative scrapbook papers (DSP) and mats; then I began cutting them to size. I had already cut and scored the basic card base but I wanted my girlfriend to pick the papers she wanted.

Here is the first fold opened…

And now the 2nd fold; and the card is fully opened here. The sentiment is by Stampin’ Up from the set Wisecracks.

To make the card base, I took two standard A2 cards. One I left full sized and the other (the one with the Z-fold) I cut 1/4″ smaller. I used circle dies to cut the aperture in the front of the card; measured the size and then went to the cricut to cut the scallop with the circle cut out of it to make things easy.

A close up view of the Paper Studio flowers (large & small) along with the stamped and punched leaves (Martha Stewart).

And now in case you missed any of these, here is the REVIEW. We only made 3 cards but with all the food, chit-chat and giggling it was perfect!

I added today’s card to the challenge at CardzTV this week. Seemed only appropriate as I originally saw this fun fold on her site a couple of weeks ago!

Thanks for stopping by.
