2021-06-13; Hey Chick and REVIEW!

Today’s card is a variation of the Hogs & Kisses card I shared last week. I had pre-cut the base cards from the Just Because Cricut cartridge for my craft day. I left the choice of the critter and decorative scrapbook papers to the crafter making the card. My girlfriend chose a dog. And I; rather than make the same card again, picked a chicken from the Cricut cartridge Country Life. The Chicken was cut at 2.5″; the scallop circle from Elegant Edges at 3″ and the sentiment piece also from Elegant Edges at 1.75″

In the close view you can see the various layers of the chicken & medallion. I did pop the chicken and sentiment pieces up but left all of the mats flat. The white stuff on the chicken is glitter glue…it will dry clear and then just leave a glitter dot.

And you had to know that I would add a real feather for the tail. It’s is very fluffy and wafts around with every air current.

and now the REVIEW. We made 5 cards total. I provided the card kits and my girlfriend brought the stamps and embellishments. Where you see a 2nd card that would be the sample that I made ahead of time so that we could see what it would look like finished.

In the photo below the Hogs & Kisses card was the prototype. When it came to making another card I switched it to the chicken with the big poofy tail feathers.

Thanks for stopping by.
