2021-04-28; The woman who works

2021/04/28

Today’s sketch is by Retro Rubber Challenge #157 I really like playing along with Retro Rubber Challenges because all of my stamps are over a year old and many are nearly 30 years old. Talk about retro.

Today’s stamp which is a sentiment by Wordsworth was a discard from one of my friends who was cleaning her stamp room a year ago in March (2020). This is the first time I’ve brought it out for some ink.

Here is the card I made following the sketch and the stamp that I used by Wordsworth.

That flower embellishment is actually glitter hot glue. I put a glob on my craft mat and then pushed a stamp into it. I waited for it to cool and then brushed some black acrylic paint into the flower image so you could see the outline.

And one last look at the card before you go on about your day….

Thanks for stopping by.

Your glitter flower is wonderful. The creation of it puts you in the third category of your sentiment, I think! Thanks for joining in with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
