2018-11-04; ATC with matching holder for “Nature Swap”

2018/11/04

Today’s sample was made for a swap.  The theme was an ATC (Artist Trading Card; 2.5×3.5″) depicting nature.  I made mine with an atc holder or pocket for it.

The pocket measures 3.5×4.75″.

Here is how they look separately.

A close look at ATC; which of course the swap was made for.  There is stamping in the background; a Stampers Anonymous ruler and greenery sprig.  I topped that off with a piece of cheese cloth, a sticker tag from the dollar store and finally a glitter bunch of pre-printed border flowers.

On the holder you can see that I added stitching around the edges.  Since I was stitching I added a piece of lace along the pocket border and then a hand crocheted flower for embellishment.

Along the bottom of the pocket I added some floral washi tape with another piece of the pre-printed glitter border; this time tiny small buttons.  Which just happen to match the center in the hand crocheted flower.

Here is a close look at that lovely hand crocheted flower embellishment.  It’s got a tiny brad shaped like a button for the center.

And one more look at the ATC with holder before you go on about your day.

All of the papers used were from an oriental stack called Far East that I received from Sonia’s Estate.

Thanks for stopping by.
