2018-01-13; Seascape bridge card

2018/02/13

My first bridge card was much easier to assemble than I thought it would be.

The base card measures 8 x 4.25″ and scored at 1-1/4, 2-1/2, 5-1/2 and 6-3/4.  The “bridge” measures 1-1/4  x 5-1/2″  From there I measured and added mats and decorative papers.

I used two stamp sets.  One by Stampin Up called So Many Shells and the other Inkadinkadoo called Down by The Seaside.

Here I colored the 3 shells and grasses with a few different colors of green

The beach sign was popped up using 3-d mounting tape.  You might notice that I added some torn vellum to look like water rolling in.

And a higher view of the card so you can see the interior a bit.  If I were going to write a note, I would add a panel to the back of the card.  It does fold flat for mailing and will fit in an A2 envelope.
