2018-01-08; framed watercolor pink birthday

On Saturday morning I went to my desk and did not have any projects in mind.  I just played.  I actually thought I had a special watercolor paper it was really light weight and warped.  Thankfully when I backed it with a normal piece of card stock it flattened right out.  For today’s card I used the piece in the top row, 2nd one from the left.

I cut a frame from the Cricut cartridge “Small Talk”  4 times to give it strength.  Then I wrapped the water color piece around it.  I looked at the piece just before I cut out the frame part and added text (Stampin Up) and a dusting of PearlEx in white.  Finally I cut out the frame part and fitted everything.

Here is a look at the script stamped.  I added some embossing paste on frame (Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous) While that dried,  I colored the flower in and went though my scraps to create a bouquet .

Here is a close look at the tuck-in’s I added to create the bouquet.  I see a flourish by CTMH, a die cut from a Cricut cartridge  (I think this one is from Sophisticated; a brand new cartridge to me! I found it on sale for $9.99 at Joann’s), and a cream colored purchased embossed flower.  The pearls you see are Nuvo drops and of course a sequin.

Here is the flower.  This too came out of the parts box.  It was all cut out, all I had to do was color it up and add some Flower Soft to the center.  The daisy is by JudiKins and is on a cube called Carols Cube (67191)

Oh my goodness, your watercoloring panels, framing and images are stunning. I love all the embellishment touches with that flower center and the small dies and pearls. Perfect little touches and attention to detail! Thanks for sharing your talent at Fantabulous Cricut.
