2017-11-28; Card parts only.
I used to keep scraps of card stock and designer papers in a box. I’ve changed that box now to be a place where I drop extra die cuts, stamped pieces and embellishments. Today’s card was made solely from that box.
I had a piece of water color paper that was dipped into the Color Burst color of chartreuse. Who knew there were so many different colors in there? This piece was die cut and then stamped with the Stampin Up sentiment from the set Mini Mates.
When the Painted Sunflower came out by Stampin Up, I pulled out my Serene Sunflower set and stamped an entire 8.5 x 11″ sheet of them along with leaves. I think this is the last one from that batch. You can see that I added some prisma glitter.
And one last look at the card before you go on about your day….
thanks for stopping by!
This card was entered into the Retro rubber challenge #76, anything goes!
Notes: The Serene Sunflower set was purchased at a rummage sale on 2-21-2015. I took a photo of my sale finds and dated it so it was easy to locate.
The sentiment set Mini Mates was also purchased at a rummage sale but I can’t find that photo 😦
This is absolutely stunning, I love the modern elegance of it, it would make a really fun and unusual wedding card I think. Thanks for joining us this time at Retro Rubber. Claire DT
