2017-06-29; What’s Shakin’? June Shoe Box Craft Night & Sketch

2017/06/29

This month I did something quite different. Instead of having the ladies make all of the same card; I had them make entirely different cards. I made up card kits using 3 different barnyard animals, grabbed a sketch and cut all the pieces, putting it into separate envelopes. I put the envelopes on the table so no one knew which animal & sketch they’d get.

Chrissy was the lucky winner and picked this envelope. The sentiment is from CardzTV.

Here is a close look as Ms. Pig. All the pieces and layers were cut out, only assembly, gluing and shading needed. In the background you can see a Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous die cut of a fence. Also featured is a cactus plant from a Spellbinder mini set and all is mounted on stitched die cut circles that have been sponged.

Take a close at the cute little pig nose. This was popped up an extra level for good measure.

I have always been on a mission to use up old supplies. Here you can see I’ve added a homemade dew drop. This one was made with sticks of glitter already embedded in the hot glue.

And one more look at today’s barnyard animal before you go on about your day….

Be sure to stop back to see the other animals that joined us at the June Shoe Box Craft Night.

That a really fun card and perfect sentiment to go with it!
