2017-02-20; January Stamp Camp Project #3 – reverse resist stamping
When I was at the stamp camp we made a reverse resist piece. I decided to bring the pieces home to see if I could pretty up the design just a bit.
This reverse resist was made by first sponging color onto white card stock
stamping with embossing in and adding clear embossing powder
Then covering the whole design with black ink.
In the prettying up process I added 2 kinds of DP, lace & glitter glue
Here is a close up of the reverse resist. The colors that you see are sponged on in the 1st step and ultimately covered with black ink. The resist of the clear embossing lets them shine through.
For whatever reason, I decided to dot the lace with glitter glue. I am surprised to say the the finished piece looks pretty good with a hint of glimmer.
One last look at the card before you go on about your day…
