2016-12-02; Anna’s Christmas Cards & Embellishments Cartridge

2016/12/02

This card was an experiment. I cut lots of pieces and put them all on the same card. Each element had 3 layers, so although this design does not have much in the way of 3-d items; it does have a chunkiness from all the various layers piled on top of each other. All the designs were cut from the Cricut cartridge Anna’s Christmas Cars & Embellishments.

These poinsettia’s did not cut well on my machine. In fact all of the cut pieces needed varying amounts of manual clean up with a small pointy scissors; making this a labor intensive card. Not one I would want to reproduce 25-30 times for the family Christmas card. The flowers looked plain so I added some glitter glue, which you can see is still drying in the photo. It wouldn’t be a photo by me if it didn’t have something still drying showing.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your Christmas cards all made or well on their way; unlike mine. I’ve got not a clue yet.
