2016-11-30; Wheeled Christmas

2016/11/30

The stamping wheels are out and getting inky. Today’s ink fest was a jumbo wheel by Stampin Up called Very Vintage. The background was inked in VersaMark Ink and then embossed in gold.

To get the texture and sparkly look I embossed the background using a Cuttlebug Embossing folder (snowflakes) and then using glitter glue dotted the raised images.

The flower was die cut, then each petal stamped with a small leaf image. It was then sponged, stacked, glued and iridescent medium added. Lastly I dotted glue in the center and added a mixture of chunky glitter and micro marbles.

What a beautiful card, Bonnie! I have that wheel (one of my faves) and may also have that folder. May have to “borrow” this lovely idea. Great job 🙂

Thanks so much Kay…I was thinking I should have just rolled the wheel onto the poinsettia leaves instead of leaves. Ahhh, the next project I guess!
