2016-11-08; mitten shaker gift tag

2016/11/08

A friend of mine found a video that showed how to make a cute mitten shaker tag. This is described as being a tree decoration or a gift tag. I can see a bunch of these strung up like a banner too.

I copied the design pretty closely and just enjoyed the tips that were given while working in Cricut’s Design Space. That helped a lot and Lorrie made it look really simple. She also gives away the mitten svg for free so you can work with it too.

Here is the shaker tag; mine is cut at about 4″.

The bow was cut from a larger ribbon and using a zig-zag shears I just cut a narrow strip. The pretty center was a gift from a stamping friend.

As I cut the tag at 4″ the snowflakes were pretty small. I was surprised that they cut well. They started out being light pink card stock which after having been cut I dabbed into versa mark ink and then sprinkled with rainbow embossing powder and heated.

And here is one more look at the tag…

Thank you Lorrie for helping me learn better how to navigate in Cricut Design space.
