2016-10-04; pumpkin aperture

2016/10/04

A friend of mine sent me a small piece of scrapbook paper with fall colored pumpkins. I wondered what to do with it…so I came up with a pumpkin cut out to frame a couple of the printed pumpkins.

This close up die cut shows that I popped up the layer for dimension. Do you remember this Cuttlebug pumpkin die? One of the first die and embossing sets I ever bought.

This close up of the border shows that I used a Kaledicolor ink pad to stamp the border. It was then highlighted with gold Wink of Stella and a stardust jelly roll ink pen.

And one more look at the card before you go on about your day….

The piece of DP was perfect for this scrappling card. I did not have to trim either piece!
