2016-09-23; Decorated Ziploc container

2016/09/23

I don’t have a stamping project today but rather a household item.

Take a look at this 1-Cup size Ziploc container. Gorgeous? No, but very functional.
At work I am trying to start a couple of leaves and get them rooted ultimately to become an “office plant.”

This is a super quick, instant upgrade to the plastic container. I took scraps of scrapbook paper and glued them to the plastic. Then I took the gold mesh ribbon, gluing and tying it in place. It looked fine but a glittery button really put the finishing touch on it.

This is going to my office today so I can get some leaves rooted. This will look so much nicer than the un-decorated version.

What a great idea! Very attractive way to start a new plant!

I love that you decorate functional but unattractive stuff!
