2016-06-22; June Shoebox Craft Night; Project #1
This past Monday evening we had our June Shoebox craft night at Chrissy’s house. She had her husband give us the annual boat ride. It had been such a hot day but by the time we headed down to to dock it had cooled a little bit and there was a breeze. What a pleasant ride. Thanks to Chrissy’s husband for being our captain!
When we got back Chrissy’s design was first up. She showed us how to make this faux laser die cut card. It’s so pretty and delicate!
Here is a close look at the die cut. This is actually two corner die cut pieces by Memory Box. I looped them together and touched a spot of glue where some of the pieces met in the middle. When we finished we added some tiny flat backed pearls to parts of the die cut.
We added this layered flower to the tie on the fancy fiber.
And one more look at the card before you go on about your day…..
Thank you to Chrissy for the annual boat ride and hosting this month’s Craft night.
Be sure to stop back and see the other fun projects we made.
