2016-06-18; masked Summer Silhouette

2016/06/18

Hello Stamper! One more go with the Summer Silhouette set. And I still haven’t used the images in the set that makes the flower look like Queen Ann’s Lace, an absolute favorite stamped image of mine.

I started out making a one layer. I masked the center section and started stamping flowers. The flowers were then masked and then leaves stamped. Where ever there was a “gap” between the images I used a blender pen to pull the ink and cover the space. The masks were removed and then the sentiment stamped (a dollar stamp from Michael’s). I drew in double lines between the white space and masked section.

Once the card was complete it still look a little blank. I stamped and fussy cut some flowers popping them up using 3-d mounting tape. The leaves were stamped and punched using a Martha Stewart hand held punch.

And one more look at the card before you go on about your day….

Over the weekend I’ll be working on a card design and card kits for Monday night, where I will meet with the ladies for our Shoe box craft night. It’s a cute Cricut cut project I’m sure they will like. Be sure to stop back next week and see the other projects that the ladies bring for us to make
