2016-03-15; Re-visiting a shoebox project

In February my friend Jane brought us a project to make HERE. Another on-line stamping friend wanted to know how exactly the pinwheel was achieved. I responded to the request and punched and cut out a quick sample so she could visualize what I was trying to explain (See the comment section of the above post for pictorial).

I had those same loose pieces on my desk and decided to take the pieces and put them on a card just like the one from February, in a different color scheme of course.

The yellow-ish DP (behind the pinwheel) is so pale that the pattern doesn’t show up much even in real life much less on the photo. I added a Paper Studio Embossing folder for texture.

The close up shows that I embossed the sentiment in white. Easier version than the original which used a punched assembled medallion which was popped up.

and one more look at this quick card….

I used 3 different DP’s, Fiskars crimping tool, ribbon, Paper Studio embossing folder, $1 sentiment by Studio G, Prima flowers and crystal gems.

Thanks for stopping by today.

This card was entered into challenge #4; 3 designer papers.
