2016-01-05; Coffee Thank you!

A while back my friend Jane, gave me a huge hand full of 6-3/4 size envelopes (They are the ones that are rectangle shaped and about the size of a personal check). I decided to make a card to fit the envelope.

By cutting this card base from the cartridge Wild Card at 6.25″ I was able to make a card to exactly fit in the envelopes. The same cartridge also had the mat (inside and out) and the scallop frame.

Here you can see the card opened up. I liked the look of the DP mat so I cut a second one to add to the inside of the card. The sentiment is by Stampin’ Up.

I added the border for interest. The bottom are extra pieces that I pieced together (left over from another project). The stamped border is also by Stampin’ Up.

And that brings us back to the card. The little coffee cup and sentiment in the window are from an acrylic set by The Paper Studio. The pretty scallop frame was cut 4 times, stacked and glued to give it some height.

Like the longer card and the cool die cuts. Great with the row of cups. Yum coffee.
