2016-01-01: Welcome 2016

2015/12/31

I’m getting ready to send out some New Year’s cards and trying to come up with a unique design. I went to Cricut’s Design Space and designed my own base card and cut it out.

I stamped the numerals on black shinny paper with heat-n-stick powder and then sprinkled with red glitter.

It’s still so close to Christmas I thought the festive snowflake paper would work just fine. I added some iridescent tinsel under the black medallion which was cut with stitched rectangles by Lawn Fawn. I cut out 4 additional rectangles, gluing and stacking to give the piece chip board thickness.

Have a safe and Happy New Year!
