2015-11-24; Z Fold with alcohol leaves

Hello Stamper; today’s design was an experiment using a different style of leaf and some alcohol coloring. I only have BIC markers but they worked pretty well.

The flower is stacked paper flowers topped with a gem.

The leaf is from the cartridge Picturesque cut at 1.75″ and 1.25″. They were cut in white and then colored. The little bug is an Asian beetle that I’m still finding in places even though the snow has started to fly.  It was cut from the cartridge Doodle Charms at .75″   I also added a twig from a die set by Tim Holtz aptly named Mini Branch & Leaf set.  The glaze that you see over the leaves, twig and bug is a coat of lacquer.  It holds all those bits and pieces together and gives a nice shine.

Here the Z card is fully opened. I added a panel to write a short note on.

And back to the beginning….

Today will be busy. The turkey we were planning on (a gift from work) was stolen by another employee right out of the freezer where they were kept. I only hope they had that big of a need to have us go without. I’ll have to pick up a turkey today and hope that it will defrosted by Thursday.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Thanks Donna! It may look easy, but took me a really long time. I will have to come up with a quicker way do to the leaves!
