2015-11-05; Wild Card Pumpkin Card

The Wild Card cartridge has lots and lots of cards all planned out. I cut the card out at 4.5″ and just decorated it. How easy is that?

I used chalk to color the pumpkin and a stylus to add texture. Once that was done I sprayed it with hairspray and dusted with gold Pearl-Ex for a nice sheen. Once dry,die cuts (Spellbinders) of wheat/grass were added along with paper flowers that I found at the thrift store for .25¢. They are all in fall colors too!

The acrylic set by TPC Studios (Autumn Harvest) really gets a workout this time of year. Here I used one of the sentiments from the set and stamped directly on to DP. I was going to stamp it on a mat but nothing looked right.

And in case you wanted to see the opened card; here you go…plenty of room to write a note behind the pumpkin when the card is closed.

This one is sailing out to the mailbox today. Luckily this is the kind of pumpkin that won’t smash on the way!

Lovely card! You’ve given me a new perspective on this cut, I’ve always made a Halloween card with it! Thanks for sharing.
