2015-10-05; September Shoebox project #3 & review
The final project for our September gathering was this Cricut cut shaped card. It is a total case of something I saw on-line. I changed out a few of the items and colors to use supplies on hand.
This card was made using the cartridge, Create-A-Critter; cut at 5″.
I had the ladies sponge most of the layers, add white highlight to the eyes and glue all the bit-n-bob’s together.
Rather than make this card with a hinge, I copied the original idea and used a brad to hold front and back sides together; making this a swing open card.
We added texture to both the large and small acorns using a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
and now the review…..in case you missed any of the projects we made at the September Shoebox gathering, here you go:
Again; my thanks to Chrissy and her husband for the wonderful evening we enjoyed at their home.
LOVE the acorn card!!! So clever the whole swing idea 😉
This card is just too cute! What a fun card for this season!
