2015-08-28; Cricut fun day…simple pop up card, or not.

2015/08/28

The next card we made when Maggi came over for our Cricut Fun Day was this Christmas card. It looks simple but we did have trouble navigating our way through the pop-up. It took quite a while and many cookies for us to figure out the fold 😉

Here is what mine ended up as, I added one of the die cut designs to decorate the front of the card and a simple $1 stamp for the sentiment.

Here you can see the opened card where I added the internal pop-up. I also added DSP and another sentiment this time by TAC.

Here you can see that although it is a pop-up, my version only stands out away from the card just a bit. Still nice looking in the blue and white though.

And one last look before you go on about your day…

This card was cut using the cartridge Simple Pop-ups at 4.5″ We cut the pieces down to fit a 4×4″ card.

Thanks for stopping by today!

That is a great looking cutout/die. You two need a ‘brain teaser’ once in a while to keep you on your toes. Guess you won’t be making a ton of these christmas cards!

What an awesome card, Bonnie! Love the die cut and the sentiment on the front of the card. Cool pop-out, too.
