2015-07-09; Purple scrap card and Elegant Edges

2015/07/09

We took a break after having made yesterday’s decorated box for lunch. Maggi supplied a delicious homemade turkey soup and fresh ham sandwich. The bun for the sandwich had been baked that morning. It was so good that I was dipping my sandwich right into the soup.

When we finished that up we headed back to the craft table for a couple of more cards. Today’s sample includes a gift that one of the Diva Ladies sent to me; sewing floss. It just so happened that the colors that were given to me matched the project perfectly.

In addition I added some small flowers that my friend Sally sent to me a year or two ago. They too were just the right color for this design.

The piece that the sentiment was cut was from the cartridge Elegant Edges at 3″. The sentiment is by Stampin Up from the set Watercolor Garden.

This is totally a scrap card; the bottom piece was 2″ and the other sections 1″ The white part was embossed with a Paper Studio embossing folder, Silk Screen.

So pretty! Love all the purples. One of my favorites you’ve made 🙂
