2015-04-08; Cricut Small Talk Frames & Tags; Good morning; Sunshine; Cloud

Today I’m sharing a 100% Cricut card all from the cartridge Small Talk, Frames & Tags.
Here are the things you need to know if you are going to make this card:

Good morning base Lace overlay cut at 4″ (Page 67); Sun at 2″ (Page 74); Clouds at 1/2″ & 3/4″ (Page 72) and word Sunshine at 3/4″ (Page 74); Finished card size 4-1/4 x 4-1/4″

When I cut the sun I added the layer and them some Jelly Roll Glitter pen. This was layered over a painted book page. You can see some of the text in the background. Once the page was torn from the book, I painted with gesso and then dipped into distress inks and dried. It makes a really pretty sky for this card.

The sentiment is a part of the base card when cut. I cut the additional sentiment in brown and then added crystal effects so it would stand out more.

One more look at the card before you go on about your day….

Cute card! Before I saw Lynette’s comment I was going to say virtually the same thing…..”looks like you are having fun with your Cricut.”

Yes I guess I am. All of the circuit cards were made in preparation of “teaching” a class to my girlfriend. I’m glad I did as it helped me be more familiar with the machine. I still only know the basics though!
