2015-03-25; March Shoebox Project #4 by Bonnie & review!

2015/03/25

The fourth and final card we made for the March Shoebox meeting was mine. I had die cut all the pieces ahead for the sake of time. All the ladies needed to do was add color to the flower; assemble bouquet and the stamp sentiment.

I showed the ladies how to quickly add color to these delicate flower petals by laying it face down directly on an ink pad and then rubbing randomly with a stylus. Once removed from the ink pad, we sprayed lightly with water to let the color blend. For the flower centers I had store bought stamens…they were quite long and I am into making flatter designs. So I added a drop of glue and snipped the stamen into little pieces and arranged them in the flower center.
