2015-02-17; February Shoebox Project #2 by Bonnie

This second card that we made at the February shoebox night was the project I brought. It was actually an experiment; to CASE a card using only products already in my craft room. (The original card is below in the video; zip past the sales part of the video so you can see the sample and how it was made; courtesy of GinaK Designs)

There is a story I need to tell you, not only did I have help (CASE-ing the design) I also recruited my husband of all people to die cut and sponge all of the leaves we used. He also die cut the flourish’s. He did a really good job, don’t you think?

The flower is a zinnia stamp (see the 1st photo for the items we used) which was fussy cut. We then sponged ink on the center of the flowers and added a gem.

Very pretty, Bonnie! I love the way the flower is colored. How cool you got your husband to help with the cutting!
