2015-01-11; Echos of Kindness #3

2015/01/11

Today’s card showcases the last stamp that I have for the set Echos of Kindness by Stampin’ Up. It’s just the verse that’s left. I didn’t even need to show any supplies for this one as it’s just card stock, vellum, a sample piece of textured wallpaper, some eyelets and a foil sticker. How easy is that?

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum and drapped it over and around the wallpaper sample. I used my Scor-Pal to score the vellum so it would lay down nicely and then added some eyelets to hold it down securely. Yeah! More eyelets used!

I wish you could not only see this card but feel it too. The wallpaper is kind of puffy feeling, soft I guess you’d say. Whoever gets this card won’t be able to stop feeling the texture of it 😉

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Love this card! I love using wallpaper samples. I have a sample book, but haven’t used it in quite a while. Looks like I need to delve into it again. Thank you.

Thanks so much Gerry! I am not fortunate enough to have a sample book like you. Our local big box hardware store has a good size sample piece that you can pick up for free as you browse their wall paper displays. I didn’t even trim this piece, this is the size it came as. I too really like how this came out, I may have to see what other samples they have next time I ride along with my husband
