2014-08-04 Yellow-Orange-Green color challenge; Take 3

2014/08/04

In my continuing experiment of using the color challenge colors I went looking printed/patterned scrapbook papers. I was able to find patterned papers in the right colors to my surprise.

The sentiment is from a long since retired Stampin’ Up set by the name of Scriputre. It was stamped in black onto the yellow patterned paper then die cut using Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight. I mounted this piece onto another label die, also by Spellbinders.

The corner is a die cut from the same green patterned paper that is used elsewhere on the card. Each of the open spaces was filled in with a crystal lacquer and then sprinkled with Prisma Glitter while still wet. The die is by Memory Box and is called Pierson Corner.

And one more look before you head out and about your day…
In addition to the die cuts used I also added a EK Success punched border as well as a paper pierced design. The paper piercing was completed using a Stampin’ Up template and needle tool.

Be sure to stop back, I have another sample I’m working on now.
