2014/07/10

I needed a few cards and just made these quickly and easily. The lace punch is by Martha Stewart.

One of my favorite flowers.

Here you see the card opened and I lined the inside with a green text weight paper. I found a Hero Arts stamp that fit into the space so that when the card is closed you wouldn’t see it.

This sample is a quick and easy letter press. The die cut and matching stamp is by Hero Arts.

I die cut 3-4 of the center medallion pieces and stacked them so it would have more of a chipboard weight.

Very nice! How did you do it? Great punching and lining up technique!

Using the markings on the punch I centered, then punched for the first time. From there I realigned and added one flower to each end. I repeated on the 2nd side.

      Hope that description helps.

Love the stepped in border punch look and the embossed top border too. The letterpress background is lovely, especially with the blue speckles.

Both cards are great, Bonnie! I love the punched border. I remember you doing that before and I believe I have a card saved somewhere that I was planning on casing. I REALLY need to do that!
