2014-03-15 2nd Serendipity Background put to use

This is the 2nd card made using the Serendipity background that I created. It’s made mostly with die cuts, but there is one stamp…the leaf. It is by Martha Stewart and is a punch with a matching acrylic stamp. (Sorry about the shadow…I changed where I take photos and am still trying to get used to the different space). The sentiment is by Cuttlebug and is a die cut.

All of the embellishments on the background were scraps on my desk. Yes, I admit it, I have a ton of schnibbles, extras and odds and ends on my desk.

This view shows a tiny bit of tulle, a plastic flower and some ribbon flowers as well as the leaves. The glimmer on the background is watered down glitter glue. I brushed it on the background to add some interest.

To finish off the bottom I again used the new banner punch by Stampin’ Up. I can see that this will be a handy punch.

I still have 1/2 sheet (5.5″ x 8.5″) of the Serendipity Background; so look forward to one or two more of these designs in the next few days.
