2009-05-06 Making my own Decorative Scrapbook Paper (DSP)

2009/05/06

It’s really, really cold in my craft area during this time of year. So when I went down to my basement craft space this morning I almost froze my nether regions off. I started designing a mini box with a die cut cover but didn’t have a nice matching paper to use. So I found some orangy-red card stock and just started applying inks and stamps. I took a picture at each step along with the ink & stamp I used. So I’ll just let the pictures do the talking. You can let me know how you like the finished sheet if you’d like.

By the time I finished this much I was too cold to stay in my craft room; so I’ll see if I can finish up tomorrow.

Lovely….I just look thru my stash of paper until I find something, or I will go in another direction all together…bwahahahahah. I know what ya mean about being cold, my studio is in my basement…Love it during the summer, but the winter…arggghhhhh… Luckily I have a heater that I can turn on, but by the time it gets warm enough to work down there… I’m finished…bwhahahahaa.

You are just accomplishing so much each and every day, I am jealous, I have not done much of anything, keep up the good work. I have to agree with Lynette, too much work! but you make it look awesome and the finished project will be wonderful too!
