This card continues my personal challenge of using supplies from a specific package. The supplies I used this time are the sticker and ribbon. It is layered on a confetti white card stock with a teal mat that was punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The only extra that I added was dots of glitter glue.

I’ve had this stamp for years but have only used it a few times. They are by River City Rubber Works. The price tag is still like new on the stamp. I can’t believe I spent $10 on this lol! In this close up you can see that I added large dots of glitter glue on the dotted ribbon. I also added a dot of glue in each of the punched lattice.

I have always loved the Stampin Up set, All Natural. I found this card in a shoe box when I was cleaning marked “make & take samples”

I doctored it up just a little bit and then sent it on it’s way as a rak to a stamping friend.

I added an over-all glimmer by spraying on Pearl-X; added antique colored lacquer on the flower petals and then added gold micro marbles to the flower center.

This is a clean and simple card (with some layers) for my Dad’s wife. I can post this early as I know they don’t have a computer lol!

The card was inspired by a totally different card that I received in a swap that had a teal flower & teal and brown stripped ribbon. Oh my gosh! I have the same flowers & ribbon! So off I went to find them and create a birthday card.

The words are by Rubber Stampede.

I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder Bloom Dots and inked up the raised side of the folder with Moonlight White Brilliance ink pad. So what you are seeing is the “debossed” side of the image. I thought it needed a hint of glitz so I added a couple of teal colored crystals in the center of a few of the embossed flowers. I also used my Scor-Pal to add some embossed lines below the ribbon.

One of the hardest things for me to do is to decorate the inside of the card. I’m starting to get a little better at it. Here you see a confetti white layer that has been stamped with a verse from Stampin Up. I also added the same happy birthday as I had used on the front of the card.

I cut a strip of the inked embossed bloom dots and added it to the left boarder. This accent tied the theme from the front of the card together with the inside. I added just one more crystal to the inside. Now all I have to do is to sign it and mail it off.

This is from a continuing personal challenge that I started. From these supplies I created this card using only stickers and 2 Cuttlebug embossing folders.

I used one of the circles from the set of 4 of Decorative Circles; and a boarder embossing plate from the set Boarder Frills. The ribbon and stickers were in the challenge package. the only thing I added was just a crystal gem to the center of each flower.

I was thinking of adding a drop Stickles or glitter glue to each of the centers of the boarder circles…I hesitate as that might be more glitz than I’m interesting in seeing on this card.

You’ll never believe this, but my husband sent me off to the LSS (Local Stamp Store) just so I could browse. Did you know that it is almost impossible to walk through a store and not pick up something? Trust me, it is.

I didn’t buy much due to economic reasons, but I did get a jar of autumn colored flower soft. As I held it in my hand, I kept thinking of the Easel card I had made last week with the tree on it, and wondering how it would look in autumn fluff colors. Now I know…and I like this version even better!

I was practicing my one-stroke painting over the weekend. I painted this practice piece onto a wall paper scrap sample.

My leaf placement leaves much to be desired…more practice I guess.

I used a Cuttlebug boarder embossing folder, a corner rounder and classic square Nestabilities square and scallop square dies, along with a couple of crystals for accent.

A mini tutorial for one of the first bag/boxes I ever made. I found the tags and base card stock when I was cleaning this past week. They were purchased for $1 at a make & take at a rubber stamp convention I attended years ago. Instead of just rubber stamping the white tags, I covered them with DSP (decorative scrapbook paper).

Base card stock measures 2 1/2″ x 8″. Score at 3″ and 5 1/2″.

Turn piece vertically and on each of the long boarders score at 5/8″. Where the scores intersect, cut a “V” notch.

I’ve covered the tags with DSP and then added stamping over the top. I’ve also added double stick tape to the edges of the base box.

In hindsight, I should have covered both sides of the tags…Attach the 1st tag to the box as shown, lining up the bottom and side edges. Once that’s done, repeat with the 2nd tag.

And the finished project…Made with DSP & $1 Stamps from Studio G. I added a tag and ribbon. Now all I have to do is fill it with a fall theme item and it’s ready to give as a harvest gifty!

this is my 3rd card in the series of what to make with a specific package of supplies.

Clean and Simple…I die cut a circle, then embossed around it. I added a stamped flourish to be a “butterfly trail” and I brushed it with Gold Pearl-X for a little shimmer.

The Butterfly is mounted on the inside of the card on a stamped piece (Hero Arts) that I prepared by clear embossing the flourish and gird design on, then using a blending tool added some Shabby Shutters distress ink to.

Although you can’t really see it, I also embossed some dots on the lower right corner of the card with a Cuttlebug boarder embossing folder

Here is a close up so you can see how I mounted the medallion on the inside of the card. I centered it so the butterfly would poke through the hole and be centered within it.

this is my 2nd effort in using a specific package of craft supplies. I used a circular boarder from my Just Rite Stamper and added my own words. I also added some Cuttlebugging, Scor-Pal embossing and a touch of ribbon.

I have a friend who gave me some of her bargain finds. I have kept these items together for my own personal challenge…what can I do with them? I have been on a Clean and Simple theme so I will most likely continue with that. Also because the stickers pictured work best on a less elaborate card.

All stamps by Stampin Up from the retired sets Little Somethings and Perfect Plaid. I added some gold embossing; chalking and homemade dew drops for a simple and kind of manly look. It’s pretty difficult to see, but I also used my Scor-Pal for embossed lines above and below the darker mat.
