2013-02-21. Bendy birthday

2013/02/21

I dusted off my Cricut electronic die cutting machine this past weekend. I was inspired to do so when I saw a fabulous pattern for a card and wanted to try it. More about where the pattern is a little later.

In the mean time take a look at the “bendy” birthday card that I made at the request of my husband for his Mom’s birthday. Now that I look at this,, it is an ABR card as well. (anything but rubber)

I cased the sample by a adding glitter embossing powder to the letters. Then I added some crimped card stock as a frame and of course a little floral bouquet.

I added a ready made flower from a large jar I keep on my craft desk for easy use. All I did was add a little ribbon, gold cord, flourish, leaves and some punched pine branches for filler.

Here I took an angle shot so that you can see the dimension a little better.

What a cool card! I’ve never seen one like this. And thanks for sharing the link to where the pattern is located. I found a lot of great information on that site as well!
