2013-01-26 Layers & Layers of Scallop Circles
I had a double dose of craft fun this week as I was out two evenings creating away. This is one of the cards that I made at the January Stamp Camp. Made using a number of the new Stampin’ Up products that just came out.
I’m not sure if I will add a sentiment to this card front as I don’t have the same vanilla color cardstock that is used in the base.
I do love the flower as it is flatter for mailing purposes. It will still require extra postage though so I guess it doesn’t matter.
The flower was made by punching 2 of each size of scallop circles. There are 4 different sizes of scallop punches in total. Each side of the punches were inked, crumpled, run through a crimping tool and then pealed apart so that I ended up with double the amount of scallops I started with.
To add a sentiment try to match up one of the colors in the bottom piece of CS – should look good.
