2012-12-28 Isaiah 30:15 In quietness and in confidence

2012/12/28

My friend Maggi often sends me samples that she finds. Sometimes it is because they look like something that I would have made as is the case with this design. The original design was by Sylvia and shown on the Spellbinder’s blog HERE. I pulled out a few of my dies and put together a very similar design. It just goes to show, if you use what you have; you will still get something pretty without running out and buying every item on the sample you’ve seen.

Once I finished the entire card I sprayed it with gold PearlEx. I am very surprised that you can actually see the glimmer it gives in this picture. The verse is by Stampendous.

This angle shows much more of the dimension to the card. I used fun foam instead of 3-d mounting tape. The fun foam will not waffle or warp when mailed and gives the card a much sturdier feel.
