2012-11-11 One Layer masked rectangle
Today’s offering is a one layer design. It was hard not to emboss or be-ribbon it but in the end I left it alone.
The shadow square was made by reverse masking and sponging, leaving the center the lightest color. I used the Autumn Leaves Kaleidacolor ink pad to multi color the leaves. To stamp the postal seal, lines and sentiment I used Going Gray. The tiny text was stamped in Old Paper distress ink, the same color that was used to sponge the rectangle. as a final touch I stamped the splotches in metallic pigment gold ink and then dusted with Gold PearlEx to give it a nice shimmer.
The stamp set is by Stampin’ Up, French Foliage. The verse by TPC Studios and the postal cancellation mark came from another Stampin’ Up set, Letters from Friends.
