2012-11-10 Sharing Friendship with rolled roses

I am back to trying to use up some of the rolled roses from the huge supply I have on hand. Here is what I came up with. The verse is from the dollar bin from Michael’s by Studio 112.
A close up of the rolled rose shows that the glue is still a bit wet, but it dries clear so no worries there. The little 1/2 pearls have been dropped down into the center of each rose.
The black and white DSP in the background is quite glittery although I doubt if the photo picked that up. To make the leaves go better on the background I drew in some leaf veins with a jelly roll glitter pen. You wouldn’t believe what a different that made in real life.
