2012-01-16 Linen & Fresh Cuts
With the some of the supplies shown I worked on a card this morning before I left for work.

I used the Spellbinder flower die to cut the opening. Next I stamped the Linen image using Brilliance White ink. The text collage stamp is on vellum. I glued the vellum to the inside of the card.
After adding the ribbon and flower the bottom corner looked a little bare. These die cut words are by Cuttlebug and were laying on my desk from another project. I’m glad I used them before sweeping the rest into the trash can.

I also stamped the flowers using linen. The only way you can see this is really close up as it is very subtle. I layered 3 of the Martha Stewart flower punches and then added a brad to hold it to the vellum. On the inside I added another flower punch so it would add a little strength for the brad to hold onto.

Gotta scurry off for the morning commute. Hope you all have a good day.

Absolutely lovely card! The linen background stamp adds that subtle bit of texture. It’s one of my go-to stamps. I LOVE the text on the vellum, it looks fabulous.
Lovely card Bonnie. Love hoe you have put it all together, clean and simple is sometimes very difficult to pull off. This is a brilliant sample!

Beautiful card Bonnie. Love the big flower window. Love the way you have stamped the flowers. I love the background behind the window. Beautiful work Bonnie. TFS!!!
Very Pretty!! Love how you have created the large flower opening and stamped the small flowers, they compliment each other nicely. TFS!!

Love your card! Thanks for giving the close up of the smaller flower. I really like the colors you used too!
Great idea!
