2012-01-13 Fresh cuts meets Hero Grid
I have been trying to use things I’ve bought but haven’t had time to play with. The rubber stamp set “Fresh Cuts” by Stampin up is something I found at a rummage sale in September 2011.
In addition to using Fresh Cuts, I added as a background element a grid by Hero Arts. The sentiment is by Studio G and was a $1 find at Michael’s Craft Store.
The eyelet is also a rummage sale find from a few years ago. It is by stampin up and made to be a perfect match the Creamy Caramel ink that I used. You can also see that I added just a hint of glimmer with the Stardust Jelly Roll pen.

This view shows the layers of the medallion…top to bottom, white (stamped and shaded with Creamy Caramel), butter cream, sand and Chocolate Chip.

Your card is beautiful Bonnie. I love the colors on this one. I also like how you have used the eyelets as accents a nice finishing touch. The collage stamped image is just beautiful, it goes so well with the grid background. Framing the main focal with the darker scallop die is just the right touch. Love this card. Beautiful work. TFS!!!
Very pretty, Bonnie! I need to start using some of the many stamp sets that I have that I have never used!
Love it. I think this is the best Fresh Cuts card I’ve seen.
LOVE that medallion and how the card background has those peeks of floral and flourish snippets behind it. And I really like that you’ve used eyelets. I’ve got soooo many and rarely use them.
